Maxwell Health is headed by Trudy Maxwell, a massage and relaxation therapist with over 20 years experience. Trudy is a trained Oncology Massage Therapist, working closely with Doctors, as a highly regarded part of the Allied Health Team, promoting the benefits of lymphatic massage to the aged care sector and working as a stress management consultant.

The branding was therefore developed with the idea of reframing what is essentially another medical appointment for chronically ill patients, as an experience more synonymous with a luxury escape.

"Many of our clients are coping with chronic illness, auto immune conditions and cancer, struggling with the burden of endless medical treatments. Even though we are trained in oncology massage therapy, the branding feels more luxurious than medical. We wanted our patients to view their appointment as if it were a resort style experience, kind of like a holiday from the gruelling nature of their illness."

Balance, relaxation, luxury and escape, were words tossed around when concepting, with the target markets visual language being communicated with clean minimalist typography, dreamy tranquil imagery and a soothing cool toned pallet.
