German engineering combined with an Australian spirit, Melbourne based cardboard furniture company Karton is a cool approach to design with a commitment to sustainability. All of its products are made from 100-percent-recyclable cardboard and, even with regular use, can last for 10 years or more—i.e., far longer than a lot of cheap, poorly made furniture that isn't recyclable. Plus, everything can be disassembled and rebuilt on a whim.
Cardboard furniture isn’t exactly a revelation, since versions have been around for decades, but what sets Karton apart is the production, durability, and look of its living room, office, and bedroom pieces.
Membery Design worked with Karton over a period of 5 years across all their print and digital marketing materials.
Including but not limited to magazine print adverts, digital re-targeting campaigns, email marketing, content creation for the website, copywriting, art direction and styling for various product and lifestyle shoots.
